Public Work, Projects & Operating Roles

I’m Jeffery Hartman—an entrepreneur, builder, deal maker, and systems strategist. Since 2008, my work has involved debt buying, receivables, portfolio transactions, and collections.

My work spans distinct roles and software projects shaped by market problems I’ve seen firsthand. Across the work, I start with a real market decision, examine the evidence and economics, then test a practical response. The projects remain distinct, and my focus can change as I learn what is worth building. I work with developers and AI tools on product logic, data relationships, workflows, and business rules.

Fitzgerald Advisors

As Director of Portfolio Liquidity & Asset Disposition, I also serve on the board and as a loan advisor. Fitzgerald Advisors is a direct broker desk connecting qualified sellers and buyers around whole-loan, mortgage-note, and defined debt portfolio mandates. The firm’s confidential first review focuses on asset type, fit, documentation, and timing. I contribute directly to sourcing, evaluating, and executing debt-sale transactions.

Evidence note: Fitzgerald’s public site describes the firm’s services; it does not independently confirm my board or loan-advisor role. See the role and evidence scope.

Software Projects

Debt Catalyst focuses on portfolio valuation. BankWatch Pro and CU Watch Pro are separate projects centered on public FDIC and NCUA call-report information. Listing a project here does not mean all features are generally released; check each project’s public site for access details.

Industry Research and Publishing

I contribute articles to Search Receivables, where I write about accounts receivable and industry developments.

Industry Communities

I founded professional communities for bank and credit union leaders to share discussion on credit, recovery, and regulatory topics.
