The Complete BankWatch Pro Engine
Evidence boundary: This is an author-reported overview of dashboard views and workflow concepts, not an independent product test. It does not verify live data connections, refresh frequency, AI-analysis performance, outreach automation, or current deployment status. Check the source, reporting period, coverage, method, and refresh time before relying on a displayed figure.
Why Your 'Market Intel' is Blind, and How to See the Real Deals
Stop guessing.Your day can bring questions about the market, a target portfolio, and whom to call next. Regulatory financial reporting has defined timing: institutions submit Call Reports each quarter, and the FDIC says its aggregate Quarterly Banking Profile is published about 55 days after quarter-end. Treat dashboard data as point-in-time information and check each view’s source, reporting period, and refresh timestamp before acting. FDIC Consolidated Reports of Condition and Income (reviewed Oct. 8, 2026); FDIC Quarterly Banking Profile (reviewed Oct. 8, 2026)
"My aim with BankWatch Pro is to make public bank data easier to review and to give the next diligence step more structure. The data source, reporting period, calculation, refresh time, and status of any workflow need to be visible before someone relies on it."
This is an author-reported overview of intended views and workflow concepts, not an independent technical audit or a claim that each capability is live. Use underlying filings and transaction-specific diligence before making a decision.
The Dashboard: Your Command Center
This section describes the dashboard’s stated purpose: to organize bank-data views alongside pipeline context. This page does not demonstrate a live data connection. Each displayed metric should identify its source, reporting period, coverage, calculation, and refresh time.
Data shown in any dashboard view should identify its source, source cut-off, geography, institution universe, reporting period, formula (including numerator and denominator for ratios), and refresh timestamp. The FDIC’s aggregate profile covers FDIC-insured institutions and is published about 55 days after quarter-end, so it should not be characterized as a live market total. The Credit Box: Your Targeting System
The Credit Box is not a filter. It's a screening engine. It allows you to define your ideal target with surgical precision across the entire US banking landscape. This is where you separate signal from noise.
- Financial Filtering: Set precise thresholds for Asset Range, NPL Ratios, ROA, Net Interest Margin, and Capital Ratios. Find profitable, well-capitalized banks and screen out the rest.
- Portfolio Concentration: Find banks that specialize in a specific asset class (like CRE or Agriculture) or, more importantly, find banks that have a gap in their portfolio that your assets can fill.
- Match Confidence Score: If a score is shown, label it as decision support and disclose its inputs, weights, peer universe, reporting period, source-data cutoff, and known limitations. Do not describe it as the “best” fit or imply a predicted outcome without a published validation method and results.
The Bank Directory: Your Hunting Ground
Once you've run your screen, this is your results page. It's not a static list. It's a dynamic database built for rapid execution. Key risk indicators are color-coded. Red means risk. Green means opportunity. See a target? Click the star. It's now in your pipeline. It’s that simple.
The Bank Details Modal: Your Digital Dossier
Once a target is identified, this is your kill-folder. It’s a single pane of glass that aggregates every piece of data you need to build your thesis and your pitch.
Section A: Analysis
This is where you find your angle.
- AI Risk Commentary: Treat automated commentary as a draft for human review—not a finding—and validate source data, calculations, and material conclusions before using it.
- Benchmark Analysis: Any peer comparison should disclose the peer universe, metrics, reporting period, source cutoff, and selection method; it should not be represented as independent advice.
- Community Profile: Community context should name the Census dataset, variables, geography, estimate vintage, and any comparison method. The Census Bureau describes ACS 5-year data as estimates on social, economic, housing, and demographic characteristics available across multiple geographies; those estimates alone do not establish that a market is “growing” or “dying.” U.S. Census Bureau American Community Survey 5-Year Data (2009–2024) (reviewed Oct. 8, 2026)
The Outreach Suite: From Targeting to Transaction
Analysis without action is a waste of time. The Outreach Suite is built to standardize and accelerate your communication, turning your insights into conversations.
- Intelligence & Contact Discovery: Contact identification and email-address results should be treated as author-reported workflow descriptions. Do not state that an address is “verified” unless the article identifies the verification provider, test date, method, result category, and limitations; users must independently confirm contact details and their permitted use.
- AI-Powered Email Writing: The email engine uses dynamic placeholders (`{{bankROA}}`) and a "Write with AI" button. Tell it: "Write an intro email to the CFO about their rising NPLs," and it does.
- Automation Workflows: Any automated outreach should remain subject to user review and applicable law. In the United States, the FTC says CAN-SPAM applies to commercial email and identifies requirements including accurate header information, a valid physical postal address, and a workable opt-out mechanism; the recipient, jurisdiction, and facts can change the analysis, so obtain qualified legal advice for consequential compliance decisions. FTC CAN-SPAM Act: A Compliance Guide for Business (reviewed Oct. 8, 2026)
Better information does not eliminate judgment.
BankWatch Pro is presented here as a research and outreach workflow. The functionality descriptions and dashboard illustrations are author-reported; I have not supplied independent testing, a public scoring or model methodology, or private-deal evidence for them. Before relying on a view or outreach workflow, request the underlying source, as-of date, institution universe, calculation, refresh history, model documentation, and validation results.
