Review analytics consent choices

Scope of this notice

This supplemental notice explains Microsoft Clarity analytics on jefferyhartman.com. It covers Clarity only. It does not describe how information submitted through appointment or confidential inquiry forms is handled, or every other technology that may be used on this website.

Website operator and contact

This website is operated by Jeffery Hartman. For questions about this Clarity notice or information controlled by the website operator, contact jeff@fitzgeraldadvisors.com.

Information Microsoft Clarity may collect

When analytics is enabled, Clarity may collect browser interactions such as clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, window resizing, text selection, and input events; page and session identifiers; page structure and layout information used to reconstruct a session; and certain diagnostic or performance events.

A Clarity session replay is a reconstruction from page and interaction data, not a video stream of the visitor. Clarity may use pseudonymous identifiers and, depending on browser and consent settings, cookies or similar technologies. Microsoft documents first-party cookies _clck (which persists a Clarity user identifier and preferences) and _clsk (which connects page views into a session recording), as well as third-party cookies CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID, and SM. Their availability and behavior can vary by browser, region, and project settings. This website sends advertising-storage consent as denied.

How the information is used

We use Clarity insights to understand general website usage, identify confusing or ineffective pages, and improve content, navigation, and user experience.

Microsoft provides the Clarity service and describes itself and the website operator as independent controllers for data processed in connection with Clarity. Microsoft may process information under its own privacy statement and Clarity terms, including to provide and improve its services. Review Microsoft's Privacy Statement and Clarity Terms in the official references below for Microsoft's own practices and any applicable advertising or profile-related uses.

Consent, cookies, and your choices

This website offers Allow analytics and Reject optional controls. We do not load the Clarity tag until you affirmatively choose Allow analytics. If you reject or do not make a choice, the Clarity tag is not loaded by this website. When you allow analytics, our integration sends Clarity ConsentV2 with analytics storage granted and advertising storage denied; this website does not request advertising-storage consent through Clarity.

Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage for up to 180 days so the site can remember it. This preference storage is used to remember your selection; it does not enable Clarity analytics. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the site footer. If you withdraw after Clarity has loaded, the site sends a denied consent signal, clears accessible first-party Clarity cookies, and reloads so Clarity is not loaded on subsequent page views. Microsoft documents that a denied signal can leave Clarity in a limited, cookieless mode until the current page is left.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this website keeps Clarity disabled even if an earlier analytics preference was saved. You can also manage cookies in your browser. Microsoft's documentation explains Clarity's own consent and opt-out controls; links are provided below.

Masking and sensitive information

We have configured Clarity masking for the appointment and confidential inquiry forms and for the portfolio-valuation and agency-efficiency tools. Clarity states that content masked through its masking controls is not uploaded to its service, and that input boxes and dropdown menus are masked by default.

Please do not submit consumer-level personally identifiable information, account-level records, or sensitive individual debtor information through this website. Masking is a safeguard for the named areas; it is not permission to submit sensitive information or a guarantee that every item elsewhere on the site is masked.

Retention and international processing

Microsoft's published Clarity retention schedule, checked October 2, 2026, states that playback data is retained for 30 days and click data, heatmaps, and sessions labeled or favorited in Clarity for 9 months. These are Microsoft's service-retention periods and do not describe how long the website operator retains inquiry or appointment submissions. See Microsoft's current Data Retention documentation for details.

Microsoft states that Clarity is hosted on Microsoft Azure and describes storage and international processing under its service terms. Data may be processed in countries other than the visitor's country, subject to the safeguards and terms Microsoft describes.

Privacy questions and further information

For questions about this Clarity notice or privacy requests relating to information controlled by the website operator, email jeff@fitzgeraldadvisors.com. Microsoft handles requests relating to data it processes independently under its own privacy practices and controls.
