Agency Efficiency Calculator
This first-pass calculator applies the monthly values you enter to show cost-to-collect, modeled surplus before unentered expenses, gross collections per collector, and gross collections per outbound call. It uses no peer or industry dataset.
Inputs and calculation
Inputs are gross monthly collections, collector count, loaded monthly cost per collector, monthly technology/data overhead, monthly compliance/manual-QA cost, and monthly outbound call volume.
- Monthly labor cost = collector count × loaded monthly cost per collector.
- Included monthly cost = labor + technology/data overhead + compliance/manual-QA cost.
- Cost-to-collect = included monthly cost ÷ gross monthly collections.
- Modeled surplus = gross monthly collections − included monthly cost.
- Per-collector collections = gross monthly collections ÷ collector count; per-call collections = gross monthly collections ÷ outbound call volume.
Illustrative bands
The displayed bands use fixed cutoffs: A at 40% or less, B above 40% through 55%, C above 55% through 70%, and D above 70%. These are calculator thresholds only, not peer rankings, industry benchmarks, compliance grades, or M&A valuation multiples.
Assumptions and limits
The calculation assumes that the entered collections and costs cover the same month and use comparable definitions. It is not a full profit-and-loss statement and has no separate fields for commissions, servicing or legal-vendor fees, financing, taxes, refunds, or non-call collections. Unentered expenses are excluded. The result is not a profitability audit, compliance review, agency valuation, or guarantee; it depends on the figures supplied.
